These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Household Calendar mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Household Calendar helps households organize shared calendars, chores, recipes, trips, and home maintenance, and includes AI-powered assistants. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Content you add to a household (events, lists, recipes, and similar) is visible to the other members of that household. Invite only people you trust; you can leave a household at any time.
Optional paid plans ("Premium" and "Unlimited") unlock larger or unlimited weekly AI usage for your household. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, renew automatically each billing period until cancelled, and are charged at the price shown at purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. Prices and plan limits may change; changes apply from your next billing period.
The Service includes assistants powered by third-party large language models. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete — review it before relying on it, especially for dates, travel, food safety, and home maintenance decisions. AI usage is subject to weekly limits that depend on your plan.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the Service, reverse engineering it except where permitted by law, or using it for unlawful purposes.
You retain ownership of the content you add. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display it in order to operate the Service (including processing text you send to AI assistants). If you enable end-to-end encryption, encrypted content is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability) survive.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
